When it came time to total my Civic I had around $4000 in receipts for both after-market parts and the stereo system. Turns out what they only meant it to cover the stereo equipment and wheels (if I had aftermarket wheels, which I didn't). Every part on the car was considered a maintenance item....even though the car had been stolen and stripped. This included: Cold Air Intake Fuel Rail Pullies Exhaust header Catback Exhaust Springs Shocks Sway Bars Autometer Gauges etc.Even parts that weren't on their from the factory (such as strut tower bars) weren't covered even though I submitted receipts for every single item. Trust me declared value is the only way to guarantee you'll be properly compensated.
